Jupiter (JUP), a decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator on Solana, is preparing for a huge airdrop event called “Jupuary,” where $630 million worth of JUP tokens will be distributed to eligible users.
Jupiter Rewards Users with 700M JUP Tokens in Airdrop for Loyal Solana Traders
Jupiter is famous among traders because it offers good trading routes on different Solana-based DEXs. This airdrop is viewed as a big reward for users who have been loyal and involved.
About 700 million JUP tokens will be shared with around 2 million qualified wallets. To qualify, users need to have used Jupiter’s platform from November 2023 to November 2024. Measures will be taken to keep out bots and any shady actions.
The allocation is organized in levels, giving rewards to users based on how active they are, like completing swap transactions, making expert trades, or staking on the site.
For example, top participants could earn up to 10 million JUP tokens, which is about $800. Meanwhile, those in lower levels might receive 25 JUP tokens, priced at around $20, for a minimum transaction of $5. Users can see if they qualify by linking their wallet and signing up with their email on official Jupiter platforms.
Jupiter is focusing on security to guard against scams and phishing during the airdrop. The platform has teamed up with security companies and recommends that users only claim keys through trusted sources.
JUP tokens serve two purposes: they award users and let them participate in decision-making. Holders can vote on future plans for the Jupiter decentralized organization (DAO).
Jupiter’s Active Staking Rewards (ASR) program encourages people to stake their tokens and get involved in the community. It gives out tokens every three months to those who are actively staking, but not to those who are idle.
Meow, the founder of Jupiter, announced plans for another airdrop in 2026 to strengthen the community and support Jupiter’s autonomous system.
Meow says that Jupuary is not just a marketing event; it’s a celebration and a chance for millions of people to be part of Jupiter’s move towards a decentralized future.
